This semester long internship focused on developing nature inspired structures for Icon through 2D sketching and 3D modeling. Our goal was to create viable designs that could be added to Icon’s Vision Booklet.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT:

Forms took inspiration trees, flowers, animals and the ocean. 

Material and manufacturing constraints provided guidelines for how abstract concepts our could be.

CONCEPT RENDERING:

Chosen concepts were modeled in SolidWorks.
